The plant was discovered on limestone formations in tsingy de namoroka national park in Madagascar. We have included the in situ pic for reference. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLeaves are varying shades of red to grey, and are thick, and almost succulent. The stem can get fairly bulbous during the rainy season, forming a small caudex like base.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDo note that this plant has a completely leafless dormant period during winter. Reduce watering during this time.
