We've been growing Pink Princess since 2012, and the plants we have for sale are not from tissue culture. The pink patterning shows up in large swathes and patches, not in tiny pink speckles like cloned plants.
Pink Princess has a great deal of seasonal variation due to temperature. In the summer months, our Florida heat makes the leaves a lighter green and the pink very pale. In cooler winter months, the leaves are nearly black and the pink is very dark.
