Philodendron verrucosum "Dark"
Humidity Requirements: 70%
Lighting: Bright, indirect lighting to shade
Grown and propagated in our Florida greenhouse.
This variety was originally sold to us as p. verrucosum "Black", however we found this moniker to be a bit ambitious. Leaves are quite a bit darker than our standard form, but not black. This variety has a very woody stem, and grows a bit slower than normal. The first pic shows the parent plant for reference.
Philodendron verrucosum is one of the most popular philodendrons out there. And for good reason. It is a very attractive plant, with velvety, dark green leaves showcasing bright, contrasting venation.
